SheepMedical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), a medical technology company driving the digital transformation of orthodontics and preventative care, announced the establishment of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) procurement policy and guidelines for business partners. These guidelines represent a step forward in the promotion of management that is considerate of SheepMedical’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). In accordance with this establishment, SheepMedical adopted CSR procurement policies and guidelines in outsourcing agreements, and have clearly stated that the Company will work together with partner companies to comply with the instated CSR policy.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations and Respect for International Codes of Conduct

• Anti-Corruption

SheepMedical will maintain fair relationships with customers, business partners, politicians, governments, and other business stakeholders, and will not provide or receive inappropriate benefits classified as corruption, bribery, or misconduct.

2. Consideration for Human Rights, Labor, Health, and Safety

• Elimination of Benefits from Conflict Minerals

SheepMedical will not engage in business with companies that benefit from the sale of tantalum, tin, tungsten or gold ("conflict minerals"), which are sources of funding for disputes in the Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries.

3. Ensuring Safety, Security and Quality

• Establishment of a Quality Assurance System

To maintain the quality of healthy and reliable products and services, SheepMedical will build and operate a management system to monitor compliance with the quality standards agreed upon with SheepMedical.

• Waste Reduction and Appropriate Disposal

SheepMedical will strive to reduce waste, optimize treatment and disposal, and recycle resources.

5. Maintenance of Information Security

• Proper Management of Information

SheepMedical will establish an information management security system to properly maintain details of business activities and to proactively secure the information from computer network threats and negligence caused by human factors.

• Creating a Sustainable Society

SheepMedical will contribute to the creation of a sustainable society through the involvement of international and local communities.

As an extension of the newly adopted CSR guidelines, the Company plans to implement required compliance training for all employees with an ethical accountability system and personal information management system and will participate in export control.
