SheepMedical Co., Ltd.’s Tsurumi Office Participated in Yokohama City’s Decarbonization Initiative Declaration

■Overview of the Decarbonization Initiative Declaration

This initiative, promoted by the City of Yokohama, is a voluntary declaration by Japanese companies and business individuals of their commitment to decarbonization in order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

■Our Approach

SheepMedical is currently implementing and planning on the following decarbonization initiatives:

Initiatives Already in Place:

1. Practicing energy-saving actions, such as turning off lights frequently and reducing standby power.

2. Appropriate temperature setting of airconditioners, filter cleaning of air conditioning equipment.

3. Active use of public transportation and practicing eco-driving.

4. Improvement of operating hours and operational methods of our production facilities.

Initiatives to be Implemented in the Future:

1. Continued implementation and strengthening of the above initiatives already in place.

2. Switching to and installing energy-efficient appliances and highly-efficient equipment.

In addition, since 2022, electricity being used at our Itabashi Head Office had been switched to renewable energy sources that do not emit CO2.

Through this declaration, SheepMedical will actively work to reduce ourenvironmental impact and contribute to the realization of a sustainablesociety. We will continue to promote efforts to build a decarbonized societythrough our business activities.
